About Anthony

Anthony M. Maez brings a motivational style of lecture/training to classes and speaking engagements across the Nation on the topics of Wellness, Leadership/Supervision, Technology used to Stalk and Violent Crime Investigations. 

Anthony is a certified and commissioned Special Agent in Charge with the Office of New Mexico Attorney General, and the Commander of the New Mexico Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC), and Human Trafficking Task Forces.  Prior to starting his second career with the Office of the NM Attorney General, he was a 20 year veteran with the Albuquerque Police Department.  He worked as a detective in: Homicide, Sex Crimes, Domestic Violence, Property Crimes and Narcotics.   Anthony has worked as law enforcement in the State of New Mexico for over 28 years.

Anthony is the recipient of numerous awards for his success and expertise in violent crime investigations,  and the success of the New Mexico Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Anthony chairs the National Internet Crimes Against Children National Committee for Education and Awareness.

Anthony is a Faculty member in the College of Business at the University of Phoenix, Albuquerque campus.  He received “Honored Faculty” of the year in 2015-2016.  He also teaches at the University of New Mexico in the School of Law.

Anthony earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Education/Criminal Justice from Wayland Baptist University and a Master of Arts in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University.
